AI Research Circle: Diffusion Models

Our first session explored the foundational paper behind modern generative AI. We broke down how diffusion models gradually add noise to data and learn to reverse the process, why this approach outperformed GANs and VAEs, and the connections to Latent Diffusion and Consistency Models.
